Card payments and cashless in your gaming arcade: how it actually works
Dutch regulation does not allow a direct card payment on the slot machine itself. Money goes in as cash or, with an exemption from the Kansspelautoriteit (the Dutch gambling authority), through a cashless play system that tracks play credit on something like a chip card. The card payment your guest uses to load that credit happens at the counter, the change desk or a top-up point. That is where you arrange your card acceptance.
